Some people are just plain down-right "deceptive" & "pitiful"; always justifying the wrongs they inflict on others.
After trying to remedy a bad deal, the right way, I was forced to leave a negative feedback on this seller.
Their response to that feedback, was Denial and Hostility. Clearly, she used deception to make the sale, and now contends that she did everything just right. You decide, here are all of our communications
(with notations):
BOTTOM LINE
She layed on the "over 7 days window", when it took over 8 days to get here. Citing "we are over that".
States she thinks that I would "trash her anyway" - what a cop-out.
I'd have had nothing but respect for her if she had just shown me a little genuine remorse, instead of a clearly adamant lack of concern. She also, would have gotten a really great feedback which I'm generally accustomed to giving good sellers:
As far as my mention of overcharging on the shipping .... of course it was, for something I'm going to have to give to Goodwill? If the order's not right, & you're displeased,
no shipping charge is acceptable
(much less, the cost of the item itself).

Cripple Creek Cowboy Cut Denim Vest XXL Button Front
Item condition: Pre-Owned Ended: Oct 05, 200910:03:43 PDT Bid history:
1 Winning bid: US $2.99
Shipping: $6.99 Standard Flat Rate Shipping
I emailed her and specifically asked about the size; and as to if it was clearly "marked" xx-large, and she said yes. At no point, did she bother to mention anything else about the Vest. I Went ahead and bid on it - and won.
Here's where it gets stupid:
When I finally got the vest (slow shipping), I tried to get it on, and quickly discovered that it was closer to a Medium, than it was a xx-large. I emailed her the following message:
A: To hankjrfan1968
B: From hankjrfan1968
Snotty Come Back, Instead Of Just Offering A Return Right Then and There.
C: To hankjrfan1968 - A
Gave Her A Chance To Offer Full Refund or something .... Again.
D: To hankjrfan1968 - B
E: From hankjrfan1968
Yes she did - look at B:
She should have been willing to overlook that 7-day return "technicality" based on her own failure to disclose (all) pertinent facts on the vest - with regard to size issues.
This seller had every opportunity to do the right thing, and chose not to do so. The sad truth is, this is the norm' on ebay, and not the exception. There is a clear problem with this stuff overall.
