I made a phone call this morning, To Mr. Hosea's office (Street Commissioner); he invited me (us) to do so - by way of the article placed in the Evening News - relative to the Trash Can Ordinance. No surprise here: just a taped recording about where and how to purchase their friggin $60 p-o-s can. I had a few questions for him ... 1. Why weren't special provisions made for the least fortunate of our city with limited resources & incomes (disabled, unemployed etc.). 2. What are they going to do about the trash now laying around (in cans) while the city (childishly) refuses to pick it up (are they going to fine us for that - too?). 3. Why, in the middle of this national economic travesty, couldn't Jeffersonville have been compassionate enough to wait a little longer on enforcing this (unfair to start with) ordinance (things have gotten progressively worse in this country since they passed the ordinance in 2007). 4. Is this the only way you could find to pay for your new City Building in the quadrangle - to do it off the backs of your own economically strapped citizens?

The audacity of our local government to use B.S. stories like "needles in the trash", "no lids-wetter garbage" to offset their nefarious & underhanded method of "fleecing the local folk", is totally unforgivable. Looks like a little "price gouging" of their own -heh?

And Tom ... as mayor of this city, you should be utterly ashamed to have rubber stamped this inane ordinance, and the insensitive lacking of needful components within (such as: reduced pricing, time payments etc.). It clearly shows that your number one concern IS NOT us, but rather the bottom line (money). Just imagine ... there are people who will have their lights shut off, cable disconnected and more, just to pay you this $60 ('cause you want it NOW). You and your buddy Dave, should be run out of town!

Update: This morning (01-24-09, the local tv station ran a piece that the City Of Jeffersonville penned: "Fines of $25 per week will be levied against those who do not

(or cannot) comply with buying the can".

And there it is ... More theft, manipulation, and intimidation - from our local gov'.

"Fleeced" Jeffersonville Citizen

My complaint as reported to the Office Of Civil Rights (Indiana State). The individual (Kimberly Kost/NP) who saw me on a two year old appointment (02/03/05), wrote a false and damaging report, which was used against me on 10/29/07, thereby refusing medical treatment prescribed by Dr. Mohammad E. Majd. At that time I had not given this clinic any type of authorization to contact this (current) provider/doctor, nor was the information solicited by him (asked for). Since, by their own admission, they had discharged me after our initial appointment on 02/03/05, with another Dr., they did not have any signed authorization (from me) to share information (from a previous appt) with Dr. Majd (a new doctor). In doing so, they shared damaging, deceptive and inaccurate information - lending way to the potential for diminished services and ongoing care by Dr. Majd of Louisville, KY. I have responded to Ms. Kost's report which was conveyed to Dr. Majd, and a cover letter was included to the Dr., pointing out the discrepancies and intentional untruths within Kost's damaging report. It is my opinion that this information was shared in a malicious and illegal manner, and I request that you take appropriate and immediate action against this agency and (specifically) Kimberly Dawn Kost/NP. (Copies of all items included herein) 5 pages. Footnote: Ms. Kost's damaging report, ended my association with Dr. Bautista (February 05). Ms Kost, is a derogatory and unprofessional Nurse Practitioner, and is currently without valid Licenses.

This Government agency, purports to be the watchdog for our civil rights, especially where the unauthorized dispersion of your private information is concerned (you know, that junk they make you sign all the time). They have treated this whole thing with the least bit of concern; The individual Alyce Hilden (handling the case) has been discourteous, and lackadaisical in this whole issue. She gave me 10 days to return information she requested (3 times in writing) or as she put it in writing: "the case will be closed", and then ... gives these birds at Pain Management (the defendant in the picture), as much as 4 months to respond to her requests (without penalty). When queried on the subject, she became sharp and snappy with my concern/s. She has obviously given special treatment to the defendant (discrimination in it's own right), and refuses to keep me posted of (all) the processes's she is allegedly making. Moreover, each additional request I make, seems to do nothing more that infuriate her further and slow her down additionally. It's my belief, that there will never be any "closure" to this formal complaint I made. Instead, it appears that it is being swept under the rug. On 7/28/08 (by phone) I asked her to mail me copies of what she had done since the last time she mailed me - and as of this date: 8/08/08, she still has not fulfilled the request. In fact, the last two times I've called she has not answered or returned the call. Isn't it great how our Government sucks billions of dollars out of us to run these services, and yet we get little or no service at all - just attitude. Looks like another Doctor and Professional Clinic gets away with it again kids. So much for that Government Protection crap huh? And a "Good-Day" to you - Ms/ Hilden (don't break a finger nail working too hard lady).

UPDATE ........

OCR, has ruled in the favor of Southern Indiana Pain Mamagement; Dr. Tiwari's little Drug House. Can you believe this crap? More to follow. Quacks R Us, will be doing an on-site video later this month. Check back, as the plaintiff (having been brutally screwed on this deal), is filing for an Appeal - if in fact there is such a thing with OCR. Folks, this is your government at work; the next time they tell you about your privacy rights, don't buy into it; the above, is precisely what you can count on.
